The Idea
Pool Leads is a SaaS platform that helps pool construction companies find high-quality, exclusive leads by scanning satellite imagery for homes with empty backyards, rendering AI-generated pool visualizations onto the actual property, and automating personalized outreach. Instead of competing on shared leads from HomeAdvisor, builders get exclusive prospects who've never been contacted — paired with a compelling "here's what your backyard could look like" visual that turns cold outreach into warm conversations.
Who It's For
Small-to-mid-size pool construction companies (5-50 employees) in Sun Belt states (FL, TX, AZ, CA, NV, GA) who currently spend $2-10K/month on lead gen through HomeAdvisor, Angi, or Facebook ads and are frustrated with lead quality and competition.
What's Built
The prototype will not build the full satellite scanning pipeline or automated postcard mailing. Instead, it focuses on proving the core value loop:
- Auth system for pool builders to sign up and manage their account
- Lead dashboard showing pre-seeded property data for a target zip code (seeded from public property records format)
- Lead detail page with satellite imagery (Google Maps Static API) and an AI-rendered pool visualization (OpenAI DALL-E / image generation)
- Lead pipeline management — builders can move leads through statuses (New → Contacted → Interested → Quoted → Won/Lost)
- Outreach generator — produces a downloadable PDF postcard with before/after imagery and a QR code
- Service area filtering — builders set their zip codes and only see relevant leads
Out of scope for MVP: Automated satellite scanning at scale, video walkthroughs, retargeting ad integration, automated physical mailing, multi-seat teams.
