The Idea
An AI-powered mentorship platform where users have live 1-on-1 coaching conversations with historically accurate AI versions of history's greatest minds — Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett, Marcus Aurelius, Marie Curie, Richard Feynman, and others. Users complete an onboarding profile capturing their goals and challenges, then bring real problems to sessions where the AI mentor responds in-character, drawing on the figure's documented philosophy and known decisions. The platform tracks progress, holds users accountable to commitments, and surfaces relevant biographical moments.

What's Built
Build a web app with:
- 5 pre-built mentor personas (Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett, Marcus Aurelius, Marie Curie, Richard Feynman)
- User auth (email/password sign-up and login)
- Onboarding flow — a short form capturing: name, primary goal, current challenge, domain/stage (e.g. "early-stage founder"), and personality preference (direct vs. nurturing)
- Chat-based mentorship sessions — real-time streamed conversation with the selected mentor, contextualized by user profile and conversation history
- Session history — persistent conversation logs the user can revisit
- Commitment tracker — the AI extracts action items from sessions; users see a list and can mark them complete
- Mentor selection/switching — browse mentor library and start a session
Explicitly out of scope for MVP: voice/video, mobile apps, Stripe billing (use a simple paywall gate or free tier), community features, custom mentor creation, multi-language support.
