Fully Baked: App Financing
"Stop waiting 68 days for Apple to pay you. SwiftPay advances up to 90% of your pending App Store revenue in 24 hours — flat fee, no equity, no personal guarantee."
The Idea
SwiftPay is a fintech platform that advances indie app developers up to 90% of their pending Apple App Store revenue within 24 hours, eliminating the 45–68 day payment delay that throttles growth. Developers connect their App Store Connect account, get auto-underwritten via real-time revenue data, and receive funds against verified pending payments at a transparent flat fee (2–4%). Repayment is automatic when Apple releases the original payout.
Who It's For
Indie iOS/macOS developers earning $10K–$500K/month on the App Store who are spending on user acquisition and can't afford to wait two months for their own money.
What's Built
The prototype is not a real lending product (that requires capital, compliance, and banking partnerships). The MVP is a functional demo platform that proves the UX, the underwriting logic, and the developer value proposition — enough to close a warehouse credit facility partner and onboard a waitlist of real developers.
In scope:
- Landing page with value prop, fee calculator, and waitlist sign-up
- Auth system (email/password sign-up and login)
- Simulated App Store Connect integration (OAuth-style flow that loads realistic mock revenue data)
- Automated underwriting engine that scores the mock data and returns an advance offer
- Dashboard showing: pending Apple payments, available advance capacity, active advances, repayment schedule
- Advance request flow: select amount → see fee breakdown → confirm → simulated funding confirmation
- Cash flow forecasting chart based on historical mock data and ad spend input
- Admin view to see all applications and advance requests
Out of scope for MVP:
- Real App Store Connect API integration (requires Apple partnership approval)
- Real money movement (ACH, wire transfers)
- KYC/AML identity verification
- Legal loan agreements
- Real banking/warehouse facility integration
